Like Come Dine With Me? Fancy a chance of winning £500 cash? We're repeating our cooking competition, where, for just a £10 entry fee, you can enjoy meals with friends while raising money for Autism Jersey.
FRESH INGREDIENTS
We are offering a top prize this year of £500. This has been kindly sponsored by Carey Olsen.
The firm’s director of marketing, Steven Hunt, said: ‘Carey Olsen is a keen supporter of numerous local charities, music, art and sport. We are delighted to support Autism Jersey's initiative to raise money in this entertaining way that is based on a popular television programme and wish them every success.’
We are also introducing a category called Petits Fours for primary school age children. This is being supported by Minichefs. Children will be asked to form dinner circles of fours, and they will cook two-course meals, for a one-off entry fee of £5 per head.
Claire McAvoy of Minichefs said: ‘I just think it is a fabulous cause and a really fun way of getting different groups of children to mix socially around a food event. It’s really going to unleash their creativity.’
