Autism Jersey, is Jersey's leading charity dedicated to the support and assistance of people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, including autism, Asperger Syndrome and other associated Developmental Disorders and Complex Needs, so that they can lead a full and inclusive life with a reasonable degree of independence. Autism Jersey also assists related professions to achieve this primary goal.

The charity was founded in 2005 by a group of parents of children with autism and is led by Philip Le Claire, the parent of a teenage son with Asperger Syndrome. Philip is now the Executive Director of Autism Jersey, as well as the Branch Officer of the Jersey branch of the National Autistic Society.

Autism Jersey is still a young charity, and although firmly established, is already helping to make the needed changes to the local education, social security, healthcare, law enforcement agencies, and other establishments in order to ease the difficulties faced by people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. A number of schemes have already been established, and the charity is working with many other departments and organisations to drive progress towards a range of support for people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
